I spend most of my time on-line reading posts and comments for links to more and more new places to visit. I keep putting off adding to this blog, as I find it much more fun and interesting at this time to read, than write. I’m trying to think of other blogs to create which will have a focus or niche. I find that I enjoy way too many blogs and sites that offer new interesting things to explore, that so far, that’s all I seem to do.

Well, that has to change! Either I’m going to learn how to do this blogging thing or just learn this blogging thing.

I came across some blogging software which resides on the Mac and uploads to multiple blog software types, and another which just does Blogger and Rapid Weaver sites. I think I want to learn how to post myself here first and then start a blog on a hosted site too, for more flexibility and a steep learning curve too!

Got an investment company statement today, lost $11,000 in value!!

And I guess this is just the beginning. Can’t move this one because we have a supposedly sound guaranteed 6% annual (compounded??) interest. Hope that’s right.

Haven’t gotten any other statements yet for my 401K or others. Probably will be same % of funds invested. Hope I’m wrong.

Hey, My Obama/Biden signs are Missing!!

Was leaving the house Tuesday AM and noticed the our 2 yard signs were gone. Damn, who would do that? Kids? Red Neck neighbors? Who knows.

I called Sue mid day to check in and let her know and she was pissed. Later when I got home she said that one of the signs just appeared. Hmmm. Mystery.

This evening on my arrival at home, something caught my eye in a tree across the street. My sign! Parked the car and retrieved it and it was OK. Put it back in the ground, a little more away from the street though.

Made me feel better about my neighborhood.

So, how was your day?

I’m resigned to this, but I hate it. Why can’t this wait until after the election?? What’s the rush?

Also, why do it at all. David Sirota’s article today addresses 4 options of which is the mainstream one, and of the others, 2 seem to be better. I prefer the one Donna Edwards, et al are writing, which is the most progressive, doesn’t give up the money unless certain requirements are met and benefits us all, including corporations which need the help, but not the corrupt ones so much.

One of these days I will learn how to insert links…
